Bradda Garden Room is situated 15 minutes walk (5 minutes drive) from Port Erin Village, shops and beaches in the quiet hamlet of Bradda. It enjoys fabulous views across to the Calf of Man and over Rowany Golf Course. It is five minutes away from Bradda Head and Milner Tower and ten minutes walk away from beautiful Fleshwick Bay.
Bradda Head with the famous Milner Tower is a popular beauty spot and a great place for a dog walk. The tower was built in honour of safe maker William Milner in 1871. A visit to the Port Erin Heritage Centre on Bridson Street will fill you in on the rest of the intriguing history of this iconic building.
A walk into Port Erin from the property is an absolute treat! Walking down the hill to the promenade gives you the full view of beautiful Port Erin Bay in all it's splendour with Bradda Head behind, across the wide sweep of the beach and down towards the Calf of Man at the island's southern point. From the village you can catch the Isle of Man Steam Railway to Port St Mary, Castletown and Douglas or stay and enjoy an ice cream on the beach or a cocktail from the magnificent viewing deck of Foraging Vintners. If you're lucky you might sea a basking shark or dolphins. We are very proud of Port Erin Bay's clean clear waters and its Biosphere Marine Reserve status.
Local watersport businesses can introduce you to the fastest growing sport of paddle-boarding or surfing by way of a lesson or you can hire our two man kayak to explore the bay. Shona Boat Trips do regular tours to the Calf of Man with some dropping off for a 3 hour stay to explore this fabulous nature reserve. Let us pack you a delicious picnic to make that visit complete.
Because the island is so small, it isn't very far to anywhere and it's so easy to explore. A visit to Ramsey in the north only takes about 45 minutes or maybe an hour if you want to take a scenic route
We are about 15 minutes drive from from the airport and half an hour from the Steam Packet Ferry Terminal. Lifts may be available subject to availability.
